Customer Review: Just bought the second one. Great coffee maker!

Bought this model at Target a few years back and was VERY pleasantly surprised at how delicious the coffee was. I like that there is a clear window with measurements to show how much water is in the tank. Like the small basket, for better soaking of the coffee. I always use the slower, aroma setting. It does not take THAT much longer and is definitely worth the wait. The basket mechanism is a bit difficult to open sometimes, and the carafe handle can get in the way of things until you get used to how it works. At least three very serious coffee drinking friends have commented favorably after being served coffee from this model. I was surprised that so many people had complaints. My coffee is always hot, not too hot, always strong enough. All I can guess is that there may be some inconsistency between individual coffee makers in this model. Yet the two I purchased work great. I use Starbuck's Italian roast and it tastes wonderful.
