I ordered this coffeemaker to replace one that was past its prime. I spent hours and days going to stores, reading reviews, etc., before finally settling on this particular one. I wanted something programmable, easy to clean, and something that made great coffee. Well this one seems to fit the bill nicely.
I really like that it comes with a washable, gold permanent filter. No more messing around with paper filters, and I imagine that's probably better for the environment as well. Upon first use it was easy to tell this was a good machine. The buttons and controls are pretty easy to understand and use. I really like the "aroma" feature. It really does seem to enhance the flavor of the coffee and makes Maxwell House taste a little more high-end. It is very easy to clean, just a matter of rinsing out the filter and basket and letting them air dry. I highly recommend this coffeemaker. The one tiny little con is that it does dribble sometimes when you pour it. But, just do as I do and pour it over the sink and just rinse the spillage down the drain.
