Because it weighs a ton, it does not dance or shake the dishes when processing heavy, chunky foods. It hums along pulverizing anything it encounters. It comes with so many attachments that they need half a shelf to themselves. Blades, whisks, hooks, juicers & sieves, shredders, mini-mes that fit into the larger bowl & do the same thing on a small scale. And they all seem to work. I see they have a new 12 cup model. I hope it's as good.
