Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of DeLonghi BG15 Alfredo Healthy GrillCustomer Review: Live in a Major City? Summary: 5 Stars
If you live in a city like New York and don't have a grill, let alone a deck to set it on, this is the next best thing in my opinion. I have cooked everything on here from steaks to fish to vegetables, they have all come out perfect. The only problem I have ever had with it was when I first used it. Electric grills are alot like their gas (charcoal) counterparts, you must let them heat to the right temp, then put the food on. If you remember this then you will have great results. PS - I also tried the infuse tray (whatever the name) with garlic, oh man was it great!!! I covered it to make sure it realy got the flavor and boy did it ever!!!
Description of DeLonghi BG15 Alfredo Healthy GrillThis large, durable grill--14 by 10 inches--makes it possible to enjoy the pleasure of outdoor grilling, without the smoke, year-round and indoors. A heavy, cast-aluminum grill and a sealed electrical heating element provide uniform heat beneath steaks, burgers, ribs, and other foods whose flavor is enhanced by the caramelization a grill imparts. For additional flavor, under the grill is a cup into which herbs, wood chips, spices, or other aromatics can be placed, so their aroma infuses food during grilling. Both cup and grill are coated with durable nonstick so they readily release food and clean easily. The grill's adjustable thermostat ensures precise temperature control while cooking various foods. Two big handles, made of the same thick, black plastic as the grill's base, remove the grate for cleaning, and a removable splash guard attaches to the grill's rear to protect kitchen walls. --Fred Brack
