Customer Review: The only automatic coffee maker I use

I am a self proclaimed coffee addict. I love a good cup of coffee anytime in the morning, day, evening, or night. I have a Rancilio espresso machine, Vacuum coffee maker, several drip coffee makers, moka pot, aeropress, etc etc... This coffee maker is by far my favorite! The ease of use, the speed at which it brews, how easy it is to clean. There are no buttons, no timers, no gimmicks. It comes with a gold filter, and a measuring spoon. All you need is freshly ground beans, and nice fresh water. The operation is simple. Grind your coffee to your desired fineness (do yourself a favor, if you don't have a coffee grinder, get one. pre-ground coffee is sour and tasteless). Put the coffee into the gold filter. Add water into the reservoir. Flip the switch to ON. Wait 5 mins and enjoy your coffee.
A little trick I learned: make your coffee with the normal amount of beans, but use half as much water as you would normally use. After it's through, take out the filter (quickly rinse out the filter holder if you need too) and add the other half of the water to the reservoir. It will get heated up, and go down in the to carafe. The trick here is we are essentially making the coffee double strength at first, and then dilluting it with water to normal strength. Less acidic compounds get dissolved into the water, resulting in a cleaner, less sour taste.
This machine rivals the more expensive technivorm machine, at a much lower price.
