DeLonghi KT-52 Cool-Touch 2-Slice ToasterSleek in structure and safe for fingers, the DeLonghi Cool-Touch 2-slice toaster has a number of versatile functions, from defrosting frozen sourdough to warming fresh croissants. For consistent results on a slice or a batch, DeLonghi equips the appliance with an electronic sensor that gauges internal temperature and adjusts cooking time accordingly. The unit features six toasting levels, controlled by a comfortable continuous dial, and illuminated side buttons to defrost, reheat, or cancel any function midcycle. For warming muffins, croissants, and Danish, a clever rack pops up from its home on top of the toaster to rest about an inch above the opening; a simple lever raises and lowers it. In addition to the extra-wide slots, welcome features include an insulated cool-to-the-touch exterior, self-centering bread grips, an extra-high lifting lever, out-of-sight cord storage, and a dishwasher-safe crumb tray.
