Great for areas where radiating heat is needed, heat is warm and lingering with adjustment features. We are currently using 4 of these heaters to heat our downstairs area, approximately 1400 sf. The numbered dial gives excellent heat control. The wattage economizer makes for cost effecient heating. Heater is too hot to touch while heating up or using high temps which can cause a burn however most heaters of this type can burn at high temps. It is very safe and economic to leave on 24 hours a day as it will shut off automatically once the predetermined heat range is reached. It may seem confusing trying to set the desired temp but just read the directions first. Overall this is a great heater especially for the money. We were using natural gas to heat our home and converted to electric using these heaters when gas prices jumped again this year. We are warm and can also afford to eat. Good job for us DeLonghi! This DeLonghi oil-filled radiator heater is the best!
It is totally silent, excepting for a slight click when the thermostat kicks in and heats my good sized bedroom through the night with total warmth and comfort. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants the same.

As my wife and I are perfectionistic designers, sifting through the vast variety of the space heaters available on the market was some task. We finally decided on one which would provide a slow constant wamth versus the hot air bast-types such as heat fan elements, coil heaters, etc. resting on the idea of purchasing a radiated type. We read the reports on DeLonghi products in general which overall had been favorable. We made the decision to purchase the non-timer version of the TRH0715T, the TRH0715. Although slighlty less expensive, in hind sight I think we would've spent the extra money and got the timer version. We have still to recieve our electricity bill, but guess it much more economical than slappiing down $1,500 for heating oil. The two we purchased, heat our main floor nicely (1,300 sq. ft.), and is not too inconvient when moving heaters from room to room if/when necessary. The overall design is thoughtfully provided in the form of a stealth high-heat resistant plastic handle, 4 castor-roller type wheels, a cord wrap attachement, and aerodynamic heating fins. The heat is slow and constant and does not get "burning hot" like coil-element heaters (I still don't suggest touching it however). This was a good purchase and we feel very good about the price we paid. If you're looking for a non-avant garde designed heater which provides a good steady soft heat, this is the one!Customer Review: not what i hoped for

I anm disappointed. The product description states that
the heater had an enclosed heating unit thus maintaining a low surface temp.
This is not so. I bought this heater for this feature as I have a 6 month old. It get's very hot and is dangerous for young children.
