From all the negative reviews of this product, I must be the luckiest guy on the planet because our has
lasted five plus years without the timer breaking ( then again we didn't try to force it to the off position
like some other posters.) We asked for it as a wedding present and I love it because it will actually produce light toast
reliably ( slighty off white, not light tan ) which is not the case with other toasters that don't have actual timers
(they use a bimetal thermostat type spring to shutoff after the spring heats up, and the resulting toast color
varies widely.)
It also makes killer French Bread Pizza without burning the cheese ( yes, I'm quite the accomplished toaster cook :) )
For all the negative "It's a Fire Hazard" reviewers, IT'S MADE OF STEEL AND TEMPERED GLASS!!! IT WILL ACTUALLY CONTAIN
FLAMING TOAST TILL IT EXTINGUISHES ITSELF WITHOUT MELTING THE TOASTER, FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD!!! There, I feel better. :)
For all the "the timers broke and I can't shut it off without pulling out the plug" reviewers:
See the top knob with the words "Toast, Broil, some numbers from 470 to 200, Keep Warm, and a Dot"? Turn that
knob counter-clockwise till the Dot lines up with the dot on the toaster body. Has the little red light on the bottom of
the control panel gone out? Good, your toaster heater elements are now off. You're welcome!
Also, replacement parts are available from Abtec parts.
Timers are around $20 if you're enough of a handyperson to install them.
If you don't force the timer, it may actually last 5 years.

This toaster oven's innovative design makes it stand out in a crowd. But appliances need to be more than just good-looking, performance is key. This large capacity oven is adjustable, can bake, broil, toast, and keep warm, is easy to clean, and has important safety features.Capable of toasting up to six slices of bread at once as well as baking and broiling, this countertop toaster oven comes in handy for everything from breakfast to a midnight snack. It provides 1,500 watts of power for baking a cake in the 9-1/4-by-10-3/4-inch pan that's included, broiling a salmon steak on the baking pan's aluminum broil insert, or toasting a cheese sandwich on the oven's slide-out chrome rack. Both the baking pan and the oven's interior are coated in hard enamel that distributes heat evenly and cleans easily. One nice touch is a stay-cool rubber-handle tool that grips the rack so it can be removed without burning your fingers.
For the oven, a thermostat adjusts the temperature from the Keep Warm setting to 450 degrees F, and the toast function has a three-setting browning control with audible tone and automatic shutoff when toasting is complete. Housed in chrome with black and silver accents, the toaster oven contributes the retro styling cool of a '58 Chevy's bright bumper to the kitchen. It measures 16-1/2 inches wide (including stay-cool handles on the bottom), 8-3/4 inches high, and 14 inches deep (including a cord wrap in the rear and chrome handle for the glass door).
