This electric grater made in Italy gets rid of elbow grease (and scraped fingers) by quickly grating blocks of cheese at the push of a button. Recharge the unit before using by plugging the base into the wall. Then simply put small cubes of cheese--hard or soft--into the food receiver. Just press the button and squeeze the handle to grate the cheese against a rotating stainless-steel grater drum. The grated cheese comes out the side into a waiting bowl, or when used at the table, directly onto a hot dish.
