although i got a black one instead of the white one i had ordered, i still love it. it looks brand new and is in perfect condition. i also couldn't believe it was reconditioned. for the price, i am very happy. i love that you can toast for 30 seconds if you want and you don't have to pass a certain number like on some other models to get it to toast. our toast so far has been perfectly toasted--you can flip the grill to make it higher or lower. we have not had any burned toast, no cheap doors and no dirt or anything like what i've read in the other reviews. i placed my order THEN read the reviews and became apprehensive...so i wrote to the seller, on a saturday night...they answered promptly on sunday early and told me to contact them again if i had any concerns, problems or worries. they were very professional and very prompt. my toaster came within 5 days. i am giving this a 5 and my only complaint is that it wasn't white like i had hoped but i plan to keep it anyway. for the price: i say go for it.
Description of Factory-Reconditioned DeLonghi XR640SRB Retro Toaster Oven
Capable of toasting up to six slices of bread at once as well as baking and broiling, this countertop toaster oven comes in handy for everything from breakfast to a midnight snack. It provides 1,500 watts of power for baking a cake in the 9-1/4-by-10-3/4-inch pan that's included, broiling a salmon steak on the baking pan's aluminum broil insert, or toasting a cheese sandwich on the oven's slide-out chrome rack. Both the baking pan and the oven's interior are coated in hard enamel that distributes heat evenly and cleans easily. One nice touch is a stay-cool rubber-handle tool that grips the rack so it can be removed without burning your fingers.For the oven, a thermostat adjusts the temperature from the Keep Warm setting to 450 degrees F, and the toast function has a three-setting browning control with audible tone and automatic shutoff when toasting is complete. Housed in chrome with black and silver accents, the toaster oven contributes the retro styling cool of a '58 Chevy's bright bumper to the kitchen. It measures 16-1/2 inches wide (including stay-cool handles on the bottom), 8-3/4 inches high, and 14 inches deep (including a cord wrap in the rear and chrome handle for the glass door).
